A pastel drawing on paper by listed artist Murat Kaboulov (1939-2010). This portrait depicts a woman’s bust in red, with the pastel used on its side for shading. She is looking off of the picture plane to the left. It is initialed and dated ‘07’ to the lower right corner. as well as to the verso. The work is presented behind a mat and in a protective plastic sleeve.
Russian-born artist Kaboulov studied at the prestigious Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg, Russia in the studio of Prof. E Moiseyenko and moved to Brentwood, Tennessee in 1992.
