A watercolor painting on corded silk. The piece depicts an East Asian landscape scene, with trees and houses bordering a river that runs through a rolling mountain landscape. It is presented under glass in a gold tone wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso. The frame backing includes handwritten East Asian characters, as well as a note of ‘Water Silk’.

- slight discoloration to image; scratching and surface wear to glass; edge wear, nicks, scuffing and chips to frame; no backing paper present.
