A silver plate teapot by Birmingham Silver Co. The teapot features a hinged lid with a finial top, a bulbous form resting on four feet with an ornate spout and a double scroll handle. The teapot has accents and details of scrolls and grapes to the lid, handle, spout, and legs. The underside of the teapot is marked, ‘Silver on Copper’ followed by the Birmingham Silver Co. maker’s mark.
