A hand-knotted Indo-Persian wool area rug. This unique rug is rendered in a palette of crimson, olive, gold, ivory, indigo, and rose. The crimson colored field features large latticed leaf motifs with amorphous shapes, floral motifs, lotus blooms, and deer motifs to the sides. Framing the field is a chained split leaf and floral main border with Baluchi style guard borders. Finishing this rug are double overcast selvedges and a natural warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
