Hand-Knotted Pakistani Oushak Area Rug

Item Details

A hand-knotted Pakistani Oushak wool area rug. This rug has been artfully aged in a muted palette of camel, mocha, sky blue, and cocoa. It features traditional Oushak design beginning with a large diamond pendant medallion along with scrolling spandrels with floral motifs. Framing the field is a stylized and abbreviated herati main border, and floral meander and sawtooth guard borders. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and short cotton warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
