Victorian Glass Biscuit Jar and Porcelain Decor Including Sorau Brandenburg
Item Details
A selection of porcelain and glass decor including an antique biscuit jar, an urn, a small dish, and six tea rests. The Victorian biscuit jar features a Wavecrest style with a cold painted red and yellow floral design and a silver plate lid with a pierced finial and a curved overarching handle. The porcelain pieces feature floral patterns in a delicate palette of yellow, blue, green, and pink on white fields. The urn has molded foliate handles, a scalloped rim, and a graduated base. The tea rests are marked ‘Leuchtenburg Germany’ while the antique dish is marked ‘PS Germany’ placing production between 1894-1918 by a factory in Sorau, Brandenburg, Germany.
