A 2005 acrylic painting on board by Suana. The piece depicts a Balinese ceremonial procession with a row of figures walking with colorful umbrellas and flags, holding an elevated throne and dragon figure. The parade is rendered in bright hues of red, green, yellow, orange, white, blue, black and purple with textured impasto throughout, set against green and golden fields and a deep blue sky. The work is signed ‘Suana Bali 05’ in black paint to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a black wooden frame with hanging wire mounted to the verso.
