Franklin Mint Replica Napoleon Coronation Sword on Wooden Mount
Item Details
A Franklin Mint replica of Napoleon’s coronation sword, on a wooden mount. This sword features a straight etched blade, with a gold tone metal hilt embossed with depictions of a Roman solider, a French Imperial Eagle, a horse head, and foliage throughout. The sword is presented on a dark wooden mount with a small gold tone plaque reading ‘Epée de Cérémonie de l’Empereur Napoléon I’ (Ceremonial Sword of Emperor Napoleon I) to the lower portion.
Condition
- minor wear to blade and gold tone hilt; some scuffs to top of mount; top of sword is loose; discoloration to gold tone plaque; some nicks and scratches throughout mount.
