The dollar coin was a collaborative project between United States Mint Sculptors and Engravers John Mercanti and Matthew Peloso. The half dollar was a collaboration in design by Edgar Z. Steever IV and Sherl J. Winter. Dollar Diameter: 1.50’. Weight: 26.73 grams. Metal Content: 90% silver 10% copper. Half Dollar: Diameter: 1.205’. Weight: 11.20 grams. Metal Content: 75% copper 25% nickel.
