A hand-knotted Mir Serabend area rug. The rug features a center crimson field of black, powder blue and saffron Mir-a-boteh with multiple geometric and abstract borders featuring diamonds in tones of ecru, crimson, navy blue, tan, pale green and powder blue. It has an elaborate compound border with a boteh Serabend meander pattern. The rug is finished with a three-inch ecru fringe to each end and is 9 feet wide by 12.50 feet long.
