A handwoven Portuguese Arraiolos area rug. This wool rug is hand-stitched in a palette of cream, saffron, celadon, teal, tomato, cerulean, and shades of green. It features a diamond- lattice pattern grounded in cream, each panel enclosing a tulip with a saffron bloom. Framing the field are compound borders, including a primary border featuring a concentric diamond pattern over cream. The rug finishes on all sides with looped fringe in cream. It is unlabeled.
