Handwoven Pakistani Kilim Wool Carpet Runner
Item Details
A handwoven Turkish style kilim carpet runner made in Pakistan. The rug has been woven in shades of coffee, salmon, persimmon, ivory, peach, and charcoal gray. It features a pattern of stepped diamond lattices infilled with hooked motifs. There are sawtooth inner borders which are surrounded by a series of squares infilled with cruciform devices in alternating colors. The ends also have narrow floral borders above the natural wool fringe. The selvedges are overcast. There are tags attached to the reverse.

Condition
- small diagonal repaired tear on wider fringe end – near center, on the brown and cream triangle pattern border
- small damaged spot on the black&pink + mark, second diamond in from the shorter fringe edge, on the tip closer to the center.
- small damaged spot on the third triangle in from the wider fringe edge, on the cream-colored pattern to the “right” (assuming wide fringe edge is “down”)
