Pete Rose Limited Edition 4000/4192 Commemorative Gold Coin
Item Details
A Pete Rose 4192 commemorative coin in its’ original wood presentation box. The box has a brass metal plate with ‘Hit #4000 engraved, which took place in 1981. A gold shaded coin has ’4000 4192 Limited Edition’ embossed on one side and side portrait of Pete with ‘Pete Rose 1985’ embossed on the other side. In small letters, this coin reads ‘One Troy Oz. 999 Fine Gold.’ ELL Enterprises, out of Indianapolis produced the item which is marked on the bottom of the wood presentation box. Pete is Major League Baseball’s All-Time Hit King and member of the Cincinnati Reds Hall Of Fame.
Condition
There are some red spots on the side of Pete’s portrait. Comes with its original presentation wood box. The wood box has a few scratches and gold colored metal plaque on the lid is at an angle.
