A oil painting on panel believed to be of the Buddhist Bodhisattva Tara. This work depicts the green-skinned figure seated within a lotus blossom, her gaze cast out toward the viewer. The piece has a frame-like edging around its perimeter and includes a decorative bracket for hanging to its upper edge. There do not appear to be legible signatures.

Condition

- poor; paint is chipped and worn throughout; heavy wear to edges and corners.
