Community Plate "Coronation" Silver Plate Flatware in Chest
Item Details
A group of silver plate flatware in the Coronation pattern by Community Plate. Included in the set are six soup spoons, six teaspoons, six forks, six dinner knives, a pie server, a ladle, a butter spreader and an additional spoon. The set comes in a flatware chest with a red coating. The design was first issued in 1936 and features a flat tip on the end and features a pierced floral band on the ends and fluted handles. The handles bear the Community Plate mark.
Condition
- some surface wear with faint markings and minimal tarnishing; one hinge on box is broken and there is chips in the finish.
