A vintage hand-knotted Persian Kashan area rug. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a color palette of rust, mustard, navy,red, sky blue, ivory and black. It features a pointed diamond shaped medallion on red scalloped lozenge. It is patterned with curling leaves and palmettes and has a herati pattern main border with floral meander guard borders. It has fringe to either end and it is not marked.
