A hand-knotted Baluch carpet runner. The rug features four diamond medallions down the center of the indigo colored field with hooked borders in rust and tan . The field is enclosed by a compound border that features a X pattern made of small squares in a complementary palette with rotating navy blue, red, and taupe color palettes with a slanted linear pattern along either short end. The rug has an overcast edge and a short wool fringe to either end. Unmarked.
