Porcelain Tableware Including Limoges
Item Details
A selection of porcelain tableware including a handled plate, a salad plate, two soup bowls, four teacups, and four saucers. The pieces feature floral patterns with gilt trim in a variety of colors and styles. The teacups and saucers are marked ‘GDA France’ placing production by Gerard, Dufraisseix, & Abbot between 1900-1953 with a ‘CH Field Haviland Limoges’ importers mark. The plate with two pierced handles is also marked ‘GDA France’ with an in-house Limoges decorator mark. The antique salad plate features the green underglaze Haviland & Co. mark placing production between 1876-1889. The bowls are marked ‘Japan’ to the underside.
Condition
- some loss of gilding; small chips to bowls; slight peppering; marks to undersides.
