Chinese Export With Spode "Mayflower", "Roberta" and "Felicity"
Item Details
An eclectic plate collection, including Spode and an antique Chinese export. There are three square plates by Spode in the Mayflower, Roberta, and _Felecity patterns. All three plates are marked ‘Copeland Spode England’. Also included are a modern Chinese plate with a small eighteenth-century Chinese export plate with a purple tulip border decorated with a family crest in the center of a gold ring. No visible maker’s marks are present as was typical for wares of this type during this period.
Condition
- small plate with monogram has chip on edge, glued pieces, piece missing, and yellowing; scratches and marks throughout; the other Chinese plate is for decorative use only and is not safe for food.
