A Huancatex Alpaca wool blanket. The blanket features a rectangular wool form with a brown pictorial Peruvian design depicting a figure in a half circle headdress and large jewelry with triangle and meandering swirl borders on an off-white field. The colors are inverted to the reverse. The blanket was made in Peru and is marked ‘Huancatex’ to the tag.
