A chromolithograph on paper. This print depicts two children kneeling to receive their First Holy Communion from Jesus, who holds goblet and is flanked by two angels. Beneath the print is a Polish inscription certifying a child receiving communion in 1912. The print is marked ‘Made in Germany’ to the lower right and presented behind glass in a wood frame.
Condition
- discoloration to paper; worn frame finish; glass could be cleaned more thoroughly.
