A crayon drawing on paper cartoon illustration of Benito Mussolini by Sy Hungerford (Pittsburgh, 20th-century). The leader of the Fascist Nationalist Party is rendered in quick sketch lines with a caricature appearance. Signed to the lower right ‘Ford.’ The work remains unmounted and unframed.

Sy Hungerford was a political cartoonist for the Pittsburgh Sun in the 1950-60s.

Condition

- large tears to the top left and top right; weakened crease lines throughout as the paper was stored folded; slight discoloration around the edges.
