An ink drawing on paper titled A Just Cause for Thanksgiving by Rachel P. McClelland (Pennsylvania, 20th-Century), early 20th-century. In a long hallway appears several works of art upon the wall as customers search for their favorite. A fine dressed woman appears startled to see a ‘SOLD’ tag on one of the works. A red Carnegie Technical School Department of Illustration stamp appears to the lower right dated December 10, 1912. The work remains unmounted and unframed.

McClelland was a Member of the Associated Artist of Pittsburgh.

Condition

- slight discolorations around the edges with slight bends and tears present.
