Antique Flow Blue Earthenware Including Doulton Burslem
Item Details
A fourteen piece collection of antique English transfer printed earthenware. Featured in this group are three rimmed soup bowls in the Persian Spray pattern from Doulton Burslem, circa 1882-1901. This pattern shows a motif of blue underglaze stylized flowers with gilt detail and trim. They are impressed to the base with the Doulton Burslem mark. Among others, this group also includes pieces from Wedgwood and Co., Ridgways, Wood & Son, Waldorf and others. Items are marked to the base, some being blurred.
Condition
- crazing present throughout; large crack to the body of at least one piece; minor chips present; surface imperfections.
