An 1846 edition of Charles Dickens’ classic novel Oliver Twist, the first edition of the work to appear in a single volume (having been previous serialized, as most of Dickens’ works were). It is bound in the rare original cloth hardcover, with a stamped gilt wreath to the front board, and is illustrated with twenty-four steel plate engravings by George Cruikshank. Published by Bradbury and Evans of London.
