Acquanl Oil Painting of Battling Ships
Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of two battling ships by an artist appearing to sign the work ‘Acquanl.’ This work, rendered with hectic brush strokes and an atmospheric palette, depicts a pair of sailing vessels side-by-side in lightly choppy waters. Both ships are angled toward the left edge of the composition, which is signed in marker to its lower right. The painting is mounted in a black and gold tone frame with a velvety red liner and a wire for hanging.
