A grouping of a Cox/Roosevelt campaign button and Chicago Teamsters Union ephemera. Featured is a red, white, and blue Cox/Roosevelt campaign pinback button. This button was designed to represent the 1920 Democratic presidential nominees, James M. Cox as U.S. President and Franklin D. Roosevelt as Vice President. The Chicago Teamsters Union memorabilia includes an envelope for an ‘Official Due Card’. ‘Chicago Building Material Teamsters and Chauffeurs Union No 786’ is stamped in red ink on the front. Also included are two pinback buttons representing the union, one dated December 1920, the other dated June 1921.
Condition
- Cox button has some spotting on front. Teamsters December button scuffed on the front. Envelope has wear to the edges.
