A pair of oil paintings on panel of a man and woman. These portraits, which seem to have been painted to go together, depict a young man with long muttonchops and a lady with her hair neatly groomed, both dressed in modest black clothing. The figures are rendered with careful details and are mounted in oval gold tone frames with wires to their versos for hanging.

- fair; in-painting is prevalent throughout both; cracquelure throughout; heavy chips and wear to frames.
