A set of three etchings on rag paper. Featured are two identical 1952 limited edition etchings by listed French artist Lucien Coutaud (1904 – 1977). They depict a surrealist landscape with abstract figures standing in front of an elaborately designed building. Both unframed prints are signed and dated in graphite to the lower right and signed in plate within the image. They are additionally numbered to the lower left as 8 and 21, each out of an edition of 50. Also featured is a restrike etching after Auguste Pequegnot and J.J. Lagrenée depicting cherubic figures and animals in a farm setting. The print is unframed, with a pencil notation to the lower right that reads ‘8339/716’.
