Raymond Veysett Block Print and Antique Engravings of Maps

A collection of unframed prints including block print by Raymond Veysset and two antique engravings of maps. The Veysset print depicts a several nude women with two large figures in the center surrounded by several smaller figure, all printed in black with white negative space. It is signed ’Veysset to the lower right and numbered 2/50 to the lower left. The maps include two Italian maps of the world titled Il Mappamondo ssis Descrizione Generale Del Globo published by P. e. G. Vallardi in Milan; and one of Europe titled Carta di Europa published by Barbiellini. Both maps are hand colored.

Condition

- condition varies; stain to the right margin of the Veysset print (more apparent to the verso); discoloration and wear to the edges of the maps, vertical crease and stains to the center of the world map and tape to the verso.

- measurements are of the larger print; plate size is 14.5" W x 11.0" H.
