Pewter Chinese Style Container with Deer Shaped Lid
Item Details
A pewter Chinese Style container with deer shaped lid. The rectangular container features a lid with a reclining deer on the top. The deer’s head is raised and it holds something in it’s mouth. The deer’s eyes are of a green stone. The body of the container is decorated with Chinese characters and two lion’s head handles. The container is stamped on the bottom ‘EnWo Loong Kee Pewter, Watow’
Condition
- The object in the deer’s mouth is missing a portion. There are some nicks, scratches and discoloration to the pewter.
