An early 2000s special edition offset lithograph print on paper after a painting by listed American artist G. Harvey (Gerald Harvey Jones, b. 1933) titled A Child’s Hero. The print was issued by Focus on the Family and printed by Somerset House Publishing. It depicts a bucolic winter scene with a man, his two children and their dog walking with a sled along a snow-covered country road. The print is signed in plate to the lower right and blind-stamped with a ‘G. Harvey Focus on the Family Special Edition’ seal numbered in black ink as 2813. It is double-matted and presented under glass in a wooden frame with beaded accent, fitted with hanging wire the verso. The frame includes a metal plate with artist and title information as well as a certificate of authenticity from Focus on the Family with information about the print and edition.
