Moorish Style Inlaid Wooden Box

Item Details

An Moorish style inlaid wooden box. The box features a Moorish design inlaid with colored wood, bone and mother of pearl. The box is decorated with the design to the top of the lid and the sides of the rectangular box. When the hinged lid is opened it has three inlaid designs to the top. The box is marked to the bottom ‘Made in Syria, Made in Damascus’.

Condition

- There is slight warping to the lid.
