A handwoven Mexican wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a wide-ranging palette of ivory, saffron, celadon, teal, violet, reds, and shades of olive. It features six colorful, horizontal bands of stepped diamond shields interspersed with panels of ivory wool. Selvedges are double overcast, the rug finishing at each end with long, twisted ivory warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
