An acrylic painting on canvas signed ‘Joseph L.’ This piece depicts a village of huts with straw roofs in which women work to harvest plants and two fruit trees lean overhead. It is coated with a clear varnish and signed in paint to the lower right corner. The work is presented in a wood frame with a linen liner and wire to the verso for framing.

- water damage visible in sky; accretion to surfaces; slight billow to canvas; foxing to mat.
