An ornate enameled brass statue of a Chinese Junk ship cresting arching waves. This features delicate openwork sails with applied enameled bird motifs, that rise above the body that is ornamented with cloisonné enameled blossoms and scrolling foliage. No discernible maker’s marks could be found. A Junk ship is a type of lightweight Chinese sailing ship developed as early as the 2nd century AD.

Condition

- some minor surface wear with some discoloration, and scratches.

Dimensions

- masks are each 11" tall and 6" at widest point at bottom.
