Early 20th Century Hand-Painted Limoges Porcelain Tableware
Item Details
An sixty-one piece assembled set of hand-painted Limoges porcelain tableware. Included are a range of plates from dinner to saucer size, serving bowls, dessert bowls, a gravy boat with saucer, and nine teacups. Each is painted with delicate pink roses, blue flowers, and green leaves. They are finished with gilt trim to the edge. The pieces bear the green underglaze marks of Haviland Limoges and E. Gerard et Dufraiuseix Limoges. These blanks were likely collected and decorated in the early twentieth century by a hobbyist.
