A Venus de Milo reproduction ceramic figurine and a ceramic Trojan warrior trinket box. This grouping features a ceramic reproduction of the famed Greek statue of Aphrodite of Milos, better known as the Venus de Milo, that now resides in the Louvre and a ceramic trinket box with a vignette of a Trojan warrior in traditional dress with shield and spear in hand. The reproduction of the Venus de Milo is marked ‘Made in Greece for Vlass Import Co. Inc.’ to the verso and the trinket box is marked ‘Hand Made in Greece Nov. 12’ to the verso.
Condition
- Condition is consistent with materials, prior use, and age.
