A chromolithograph on paper with a gold-tone metal riza of an Eastern Orthodox icon, dated to the early 20th-century. The work depicts Saint Nicholas of Myra with Christ and the Virgin Mary at his shoulders. The abbreviated Church Slavonic inscription reads Св. Николай Мирлик. чуд. (Saint Nicholas [of] Myra, the Wonderworker). Housed in a metal and wood frame under glass.
Condition
- minor wear to the frame; some chipping to the wood verso, concentrated in the corners.
