Vintage Crystal Pitcher with Nickel Brass Lid and Ice Insert

A vintage crystal pitcher. This piece features a hinged nickel brass lid with fluted spout and teardrop finial. It boasts a scrolled handle molded in the shape of a dragon and is finished with arabesque detail. The crystal body is accented with cross cuts, fans, and thumbprint motifs. It rests on a round base with a starburst accent. A removable glass insert, nestled in the lid, may be filled with ice to chill the contents of the pitcher. This piece bears no discernible maker’s marks.

- light discoloration to crystal; some tarnish to metal lid; faint surface scratches and minor marks throughout.
