The artist has provided a tangibly glistening representation of a prehistoric floundling, belly flopped onto precrustaecious shores, sprouting leafy tendrils of science fictional survival. The surface of the painting is beautifully varnished, and comes to you unframed, standing alone just fine. Presumably painted as a student at the Art Academy of Cincinnati.
