Malcolm Campbell Signature Visual COA

Item Details

A Malcolm Campbell cut signature with calling card. Malcolm, a native of England, was a renown race driver and automobile correspondent. He achieved the speed record during the 1920s and the 1930s on land and water. He won the Grand Prix in 1927 and 1928. He was unique in the racing world for his ability to race various types of vehicles. He died of natural causes in 1948. He signed an index card and dated it ‘7/9/33’ with a black ink pen. The index card was sent with a typed three-fold paper that had a London address, telephone number and ‘with Sir Malcolm Campbell’s compliments’. His signature was given a ‘visual pass’ by a third party authenticator.
