A collection of gouache paintings of primates by east coast artist Miriam H. Beerman (born 1923). This assortment of five features four painterly depictions of primates, rendered in shades of blackish brown, as well as a painting of an owl with its talons extended. The works are signed ‘M. Beerman’ and several include titles such as Monkey Figure 1969 and Mother Baboon & Infant. The paintings are offered unframed.
