A gouache painting on paper of capuchin monkeys by east coast artist Miriam H. Beerman (born 1923). This piece is rendered with scrubbing brushmarks and depicts the faces of two white-headed capuchin monkeys, both wearing curious expressions. The work is signed ‘M. Beerman’ in ink toward its lower right corner and is presented unframed.
