A signed Native American pottery bowl by listed Hopi potter Frieda Poleahla (Fire/Coyote Clan, ca. 1935 – 1995). The round, thick-walled bowl is made of red earthenware clay in a pink buff color, featuring deep, sloping sides, decorated with black geometric patterns. The patterns include sideways, elongated triangles, with vertical stripes. The rim is decorated with four groups of three dots. The underside is signed ‘Frieda Poleahla’.
