A first edition copy of America’s National Game by Albert G. Spalding with cartoons by Homer C. Davenport. This book was published during 1911 in New York by American Sports Publishing Company. It is bound in blue cloth covered boards with gilt lettering and designs. A.G. Spalding was a pioneer of the sport of baseball, and after his playing days went on to co-found the Spalding sporting goods company.
