Item Details
A 1969 oil painting on canvas by H. Garhdez. The painting depicts the iconic Basilique du Sacré-Coeur de Montmartre, viewed through a busy cafe filled street on a gray day. It is signed, dated and marked ‘Paris’ to the lower left. Presented in a simple black wood frame with a hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- several areas of paint loss to lower portion. Scattered areas of craquelure with lift. Scratch to painting to center of right side. Accretions scattered across surface of painting. Minor wear to frame.
