Bronze Whippet Sculpture after a Model by P.J. Mene

An antique patinated cast-bronze sculpture of a whippet with a ball after a model by P.J. Mene. Pierre Jules Mene kept whippets as pets and sculpted them frequently, this particular dog was named Giselle. The piece is dog is cast separately from the base, and the two are bolted together with hand made bronze nuts.
