A pair of articulated carved wooden folk art animal figurines, including a colorful hand-painted deer finished in a blue tone with spots in lavender and other details in yellow, red, pink and white tones. The wooden horse features a straw mane and tail and articulated joints at the shoulders, hips, hocks, knee and fetlock joints with hooves finished in black. It is mounted on a single black pedestal and black-painted wood plinth.
