A circa 1880 Jennie June china head doll. Featured is an antique doll adorned with a 19th century china head showcasing molded black hair, bright blue eyes, rosy cheeks, and coral lips. The doll wears a strand of pearls atop a hand-crafted navy satin dress accented with mesh overlay, metallic ribbons, and lace. The dress and undergarments were fashioned from a piece of the previous owner’s clothing. Included are photographs and typed notes explaining how the doll was made, its history, alongside personal comments. The doll is unmarked.
